Curved Settee

The Curved Settee was originally designed for a specific architectural setting, positioned at the foot of a spiral staircase.

Made in walnut, the piece follows the curve of the staircase, with a shaped seat and split back that respond directly to the surrounding architecture.

The seats are carved by hand, with prominent tooling marks retained as part of the finished surface. Each spindle is also individually shaped by hand, leaving crisp facets that emphasise the hand-carved nature of the piece.
