Wayfinder 01 by Filippo Muzi Falconi, made from cave clay with bone-impressed markings, inlaid into a cherry and walnut wood frame.
Created during a residency programme in the Italian mountains, the Wayfinder series imagines signs encountered along a subterranean path. Clay collected from caves was fired in a handmade wood-fired kiln and impressed using bones found underground, forming fragments of an unknown language from the world beneath our feet.
