Welcome to the beginning

Hello, and welcome to the start of a new chapter.

Building a studio and workshop from the ground up has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. Doing that in London, and finding a space that works for a small furniture workshop, hasn’t been straightforward. But we got there. I’ll share more of the space later in the new year, once I’ve properly taken it over and started the work of turning it into a functioning workshop.

In the meantime, I wanted to share the last two pieces to be made in the old workshop, and two that I’m particularly fond of. They’re a spindleback lounge chair and a coffee table, both made from timber taken from a London plane tree that once grew in Primrose Hill Park.

I hope you’ll enjoy following along as this next phase takes shape.
